This website is dedicated to the time I was a Library Assistant at Kalākaua Middle School (January 2019 to May 2020).

It was my first full-time library job, an opportunity that I was waiting for a long time.

I LOVE the library life. I loved organizing the items in the library. I loved helping students learn more about library resources. 

Despite the negative stereotypes associated with the surrounding community, most of the students were wonderful. In fact, I wish I was more like my library student helpers when I was their age! They give me great hope for the future! 

So much positive memories there, but I left due to the troubled relations with the head librarian who lacked basic people skills. If I was partnered with almost anybody else, I would still be there! 

The (now former) head librarian is "Never Wrong", and gets mad when I dare question her majesty. She even had the nerve to file for a Temporary Restraining Order when I informed the taxpayers about how she (as a government official paid by our taxes) is poison to the school. The TRO has since been withdrawn.
