Non-class projects

This is the project page featuring projects I have done outside of class during my time as a

graduate student in UH-Manoa's Library and Information Science (LIS) program.

This was the power-point I used in my presentation titled "Expanding Access to Audiobooks" at the

Hawaii Library Association conference which took place on December 2014.

This presentation advocated expanding eligibility to audiobooks provided by the National Library Service for the Blind & Physically Handicapped.

Much of the research for that presentation was done in LIS 699: Directed Readings/Research
(Library Resources and Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired)

THis is a poster I presented to the Hawaii Libary Association conference that took place on December 2015.   This poster advocated for the expansion of library hours at the University of Hawaii at Manoa during the summer sessions, as well as give insight to my activism with the Graduate Student Organization to pass a resolution calling for extended summer library hours.

This is a resolution that I introduced to the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Graduate Student Organization (GSO) calling for extended summer library hours.  I collaborated with other members to complete the final draft of the resolution, which was approved by the GSO on July 30, 2015.

I made this flyer to promote the LIS Graduation Dinner to honor Fall 2015 graduates!
